Creamy meatballs with vegetables

½ cabbage
1 carrot
1 onion
2 garlic cloves
600 g ground meat
olive oil
Frying oil

2 tomatoes
1 onion
1 carrot
6 tablespoons cream
olive oil

How to make the creamy vegetable meatballs?
Peel and chop the onion.

Peel and grate carrot.

Brown in a pan with a drizzle of oil.

Rinse the cabbage, cut into strips and add to the pan.

Season with salt and continue cooking for a quarter of an hour.

Leave to cool.

Add the minced meat and season with salt and pepper.

Add grated garlic and chopped parsley.

Scoop out some of the mixture and shape into an oval.

Repeat with the rest of the mixture.

Heat plenty of oil in a saucepan.

Fry the meatballs, browning them on all sides.

Prepare the sauce by sautéing the chopped onion in a pan with a drizzle of oil.

Add the grated carrot.

Cook for 2 minutes.

Add the grated tomato and cook for a further ten minutes.

Season with salt and pepper.

Pour in the cream.

Stir with a spatula.

Preheat oven to 190°C.

Oil an ovenproof dish and place the dumplings in it.

Add the sauce and bake for around 35 minutes.

Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve the creamy meatballs with vegetables.
