Decadent Pepper Steak with Rice: A Flavor Explosion!

  • Olive oil.
  • Cornstarch.
  • Crushed black pepper.
  • Soy sauce (combination of light and dark).

Marination:

  1. Slice the steak thinly against the direction of muscle strands.
  2. Marinate the steak with crushed black pepper, soy sauce, chicken seasoning, cornstarch, honey, and olive oil.
  3. Add minced ginger and garlic for a burst of flavor.
  4. Let the steak marinate, creating a flavorful base.

Slurry Preparation:

  1. Combine water, cornstarch, crushed black pepper, and the remainder of soy sauce.
  2. Whisk to create a smooth slurry.

Cooking Process:

  1. Cook the marinated steak in a hot, non-stick skillet until glossy, juicy, and flavorful.
  2. Set aside the cooked steak.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté sliced ginger, garlic, and fresh vegetables (bell peppers and onions).
  4. Add the prepared slurry to create a rich glaze.
  5. Introduce the cooked steak back into the skillet and coat it in the glaze.
