For Garnish:
- πΏ Sliced green onions
- πΏ Sesame seeds
π Directions:
- Prepare the Ribs:
- Preheat your oven to 300Β°F (150Β°C).
- Remove the thin membrane from the back of the ribs. This can be done by sliding a knife under the membrane and peeling it away.
- In a small bowl, mix together the salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Rub the spice mixture evenly over both sides of the ribs.
- Bake the Ribs:
- Place the ribs on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Cover the ribs tightly with another sheet of aluminum foil to seal them.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours, or until the ribs are tender.
- Make the Honey Garlic Sauce:
- In a medium saucepan, combine the soy sauce, honey, brown sugar, minced garlic, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes (if using). Bring to a simmer over medium heat.
- In a small bowl, mix the cornstarch with water to create a slurry. Add the slurry to the sauce and cook, stirring constantly, until the sauce has thickened, about 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat.
- Glaze and Broil the Ribs:
- Remove the ribs from the oven and carefully uncover them.
- Brush the ribs generously with the honey garlic sauce.
- Preheat your broiler to high. Place the ribs under the broiler for 3-5 minutes, or until the sauce is bubbly and caramelized. Watch closely to avoid burning.
- Serve:
- Transfer the ribs to a cutting board and let rest for a few minutes before slicing.
- Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.
- Serve with any remaining honey garlic sauce on the side.

- Serve with your favorite sides like coleslaw, mashed potatoes, or a fresh green salad.
