๐Ÿ๐Ÿฅฉ Brown Sugar-Pineapple Pork Chops ๐Ÿฅฉ๐Ÿ

Enjoy these delicious Brown Sugar-Pineapple Pork Chops, which combine the sweetness of brown sugar and pineapple with savory pork chops for a delightful and easy-to-make meal.

๐Ÿ“‹ Ingredients:

  • ๐Ÿ– 4 boneless pork chops
  • ๐ŸŒฟ 1 teaspoon salt
  • ๐ŸŒฟ 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • ๐ŸŒฟ 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ๐ŸŒฟ 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • ๐Ÿงˆ 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • ๐Ÿฌ 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • ๐Ÿ 1 can (20 oz) pineapple slices, drained (reserve 1/2 cup of juice)
  • ๐Ÿฅค 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • ๐Ÿฏ 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • ๐ŸŒฟ 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for a bit of heat)
  • ๐ŸŒฟ Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

๐Ÿ“ Directions:

  1. Prepare the Pork Chops:
  • Season the pork chops on both sides with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  1. Sear the Pork Chops:
  • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the pork chops and sear for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown. Remove the pork chops from the skillet and set aside.
  1. Make the Sauce:
  • In the same skillet, add the brown sugar, reserved pineapple juice, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, and red pepper flakes (if using). Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.
  1. Cook the Pork Chops:
  • Return the pork chops to the skillet and spoon some of the sauce over them. Arrange the pineapple slices on top of the pork chops.
  • Cover the skillet and simmer for 10-15 minutes, or until the pork chops are cooked through and reach an internal temperature of 145ยฐF (63ยฐC).
  1. Serve:
  • Transfer the pork chops and pineapple slices to a serving platter. Spoon the sauce over the top.
  • Garnish with chopped fresh parsley if desired.

Cooking Time: 25 minutes
