π Directions:
- Preheat Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- Prepare the Mushrooms:
- Clean the mushrooms with a damp cloth and remove the stems. Finely chop the stems and set aside.
- Cook the Filling:
- In a skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
- Add the minced garlic and chopped mushroom stems, and cook for another 2-3 minutes until the mushrooms release their moisture and the garlic is fragrant.
- Stir in the cream cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, Old Bay seasoning (if using), salt, and black pepper. Cook until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
- Remove from heat and gently fold in the lump crab meat and chopped parsley.
- Stuff the Mushrooms:
- Spoon the crab mixture into the mushroom caps, pressing gently to fill them well.
- Prepare the Topping:
- In a small bowl, mix the bread crumbs with 1 tablespoon of melted butter. Sprinkle the bread crumb mixture evenly over the stuffed mushrooms.
