🍫🍦 Creamy Chocolate Fudgesicles 🍦🍫

July 11, 2024 by BMA24

These Creamy Chocolate Fudgesicles are the perfect frozen treat for chocolate lovers. Rich, creamy, and incredibly easy to make, they are sure to become a favorite dessert or snack.

πŸ“‹ Ingredients:

  • 🍫 1 1/2 cups whole milk
  • πŸ₯› 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 🍬 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 🍫 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 🍫 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 🌿 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 🧈 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 🌽 1 tablespoon cornstarch

πŸ“ Directions:

  1. Prepare the Chocolate Mixture:
  • In a medium saucepan, combine the whole milk, heavy cream, and granulated sugar. Heat over medium heat, stirring constantly until the sugar is dissolved and the mixture is warm (do not let it boil).
  1. Mix the Cocoa and Cornstarch:
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the unsweetened cocoa powder and cornstarch. Gradually add this mixture to the warm milk mixture, whisking continuously to prevent lumps.
  1. Melt the Chocolate Chips:
  • Add the semi-sweet chocolate chips to the saucepan. Continue to cook, stirring constantly, until the chocolate chips are completely melted and the mixture thickens, about 5-7 minutes.
  1. Add Butter and Vanilla:
  • Remove the saucepan from the heat. Stir in the unsalted butter and vanilla extract until well combined.
  1. Cool the Mixture:
  • Allow the mixture to cool slightly, stirring occasionally to prevent a skin from forming on the surface.
  1. Fill the Molds:
  • Pour the chocolate mixture into popsicle molds, leaving a little space at the top for expansion. Insert the popsicle sticks.
  1. Freeze:
  • Place the molds in the freezer and freeze for at least 4-6 hours, or until completely solid.
  1. Serve:
  • To release the fudgesicles from the molds, run warm water over the outside of the molds for a few seconds. Gently pull on the sticks to remove the fudgesicles.

  • Feel free to customize your fudgesicles by adding mix-ins like chopped nuts, mini marshmallows, or sprinkles before freezing.
