This Garlic Butter Baked Chicken Breast is a simple yet incredibly flavorful dish that’s perfect for a weeknight dinner. The garlic butter adds richness and depth of flavor to the juicy chicken breasts.

  • πŸ— 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • πŸ§‚ 1 teaspoon salt
  • 🌿 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • πŸ§‚ 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 🌿 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 🌿 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • πŸ§„ 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 🧈 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • πŸ‹ 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 🌿 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

  1. Preheat Oven:
  • Preheat your oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C). Lightly grease a baking dish with cooking spray or olive oil.
  1. Prepare the Chicken:
  • Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt, black pepper, paprika, dried thyme, and dried rosemary. Place the seasoned chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish.
  1. Make the Garlic Butter:
  • In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, and fresh lemon juice. Pour the garlic butter mixture over the chicken breasts, ensuring they are well coated.
  1. Bake:
  • Bake the chicken in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165Β°F (75Β°C). Baste the chicken with the garlic butter from the baking dish halfway through the cooking time for extra flavor and moisture.
  1. Garnish and Serve:
  • Remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
