This Chicken Cordon Bleu Meatloaf combines the classic flavors of the beloved dish into a comforting meatloaf form. Itโ€™s loaded with tender chicken, savory ham, and gooey Swiss cheese, making it a perfect family meal!

๐Ÿ“‹ Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 lbs ground chicken ๐Ÿ—
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs ๐Ÿž
  • 1/2 cup milk ๐Ÿฅ›
  • 1 large egg ๐Ÿฅš
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard ๐ŸŒฟ
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder ๐ŸŒฟ
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder ๐ŸŒฟ
  • Salt and pepper to taste ๐Ÿง‚
  • 6-8 slices Swiss cheese ๐Ÿง€
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese ๐Ÿง€

For the Topping:

  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise ๐Ÿฅ„
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard ๐ŸŒฟ
  • 1 tablespoon honey ๐Ÿฏ
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs ๐Ÿž

๐Ÿ“ Instructions:

1. Preheat the Oven:

  1. Preheat your oven:
  • Preheat the oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC). Grease a loaf pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.

2. Prepare the Meatloaf:

  1. Mix the meatloaf ingredients:
  • In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and grated Parmesan cheese. Mix until everything is well combined.
  1. Layer the meatloaf:
  • Divide the chicken mixture in half. Press half of the mixture into the bottom of the prepared loaf pan, spreading it evenly.
  1. Add the filling:
  • Layer the deli ham and Swiss cheese slices on top of the first layer of the chicken mixture. Then, press the remaining chicken mixture on top, sealing the edges to encase the ham and cheese.

3. Prepare the Topping:

  1. Mix the topping ingredients:
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, and honey. Spread the mixture over the top of the meatloaf.
  1. Add breadcrumbs:
  • Sprinkle the breadcrumbs evenly over the top for a crispy finish.

4. Bake the Meatloaf:

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the meatloaf reaches 165ยฐF (74ยฐC) and the top is golden and crispy.

  • Let the meatloaf rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing.
