🥩 Ground Beef Stroganoff Recipe 🍝

This Ground Beef Stroganoff is a comforting and hearty meal, combining tender ground beef with a creamy, savory mushroom sauce. It’s a quicker version of the classic stroganoff but just as delicious, and perfect for busy weeknights!

📋 Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef 🥩
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped 🧅
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced 🧄
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced 🍄
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour 🌾
  • 2 cups beef broth 🍲
  • 1 cup sour cream 🥛
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce 🌿
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard 🌿
  • Salt and pepper to taste 🧂
  • 8 oz egg noodles 🍝
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil 🛢️
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish) 🌿

📝 Instructions:

1. Cook the Ground Beef:

  1. Brown the beef:
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, heat the olive oil. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary.
  1. Add onions and garlic:
  • Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook until the onion is soft and translucent, about 3-4 minutes.

2. Cook the Mushrooms:

  1. Add mushrooms:
  • Stir in the sliced mushrooms and cook for another 5 minutes, until the mushrooms are tender and any moisture has evaporated.

3. Make the Sauce:

  1. Add flour:
  • Sprinkle the flour over the beef and mushroom mixture and stir well to coat everything evenly.
  1. Add broth and seasonings:
  • Slowly stir in the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and Dijon mustard. Simmer the mixture for 5-7 minutes, allowing it to thicken.
  1. Stir in sour cream:
  • Reduce the heat to low and stir in the sour cream until the sauce is smooth and creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Let the sauce simmer on low while you cook the noodles.

4. Cook the Noodles:

  1. Boil the noodles:
  • Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

5. Serve:

  1. Combine:
  • Toss the cooked egg noodles with the beef stroganoff sauce or serve the sauce spooned over the noodles.
  1. Garnish and serve:
  • Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and enjoy this creamy Ground Beef Stroganoff hot!
