These Fluffiest Bread Rolls are pillowy, buttery, and irresistibly soft. Perfect for dinner, sandwiches, or a comforting snack, these rolls are easy to make and will quickly become a family favorite.


๐Ÿ›’ Ingredients:

  • ๐Ÿž 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • ๐Ÿฌ 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • ๐Ÿง‚ 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • ๐ŸŒฟ 2 1/4 tsp (1 packet) active dry yeast
  • ๐Ÿฅ› 1 cup warm milk (about 110ยฐF/43ยฐC)
  • ๐Ÿ’ง 1/4 cup warm water (about 110ยฐF/43ยฐC)
  • ๐Ÿงˆ 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • ๐Ÿฅš 1 large egg

For Topping:

  • ๐Ÿงˆ 2 tbsp melted butter (for brushing)

๐Ÿ”ฅ Instructions:

1๏ธโƒฃ Activate the Yeast:

  • In a small bowl, combine the warm water, 1 tbsp sugar (from the 2 tbsp), and yeast. Stir gently and let it sit for 5-10 minutes, or until frothy.

2๏ธโƒฃ Mix the Dough:

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, remaining sugar, and salt.
  • Add the yeast mixture, warm milk, melted butter, and egg. Mix until the dough comes together.

  • Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead for 8-10 minutes, or until it is smooth and elastic. Alternatively, use a stand mixer with a dough hook for 5-6 minutes.

  • Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a clean kitchen towel or plastic wrap, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.

  • Punch down the dough and divide it into 12-15 equal portions. Shape each portion into a ball and place them on a greased or parchment-lined baking sheet or in a greased 9ร—13-inch pan.

  • Cover the rolls with a kitchen towel and let them rise for 30-40 minutes, or until puffy.

  • Preheat your oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC).
  • Bake the rolls for 15-18 minutes, or until golden brown.
