  • πŸ— 4-6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or thighs)
  • 🍚 2 cups uncooked long-grain white rice
  • πŸ₯£ 2 cans (10.5 oz each) cream of chicken soup
  • πŸ₯› 2 Β½ cups chicken broth (or water)
  • 🧈 Β½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • πŸ§‚ 1 packet onion soup mix
  • πŸ§€ (Optional) Β½ cup shredded cheese for topping

1️⃣ Preheat & Prep

  • Preheat your oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C).
  • Grease a 9Γ—13-inch baking dish.

2️⃣ Layer the Ingredients

  • Spread uncooked rice evenly at the bottom of the dish.
  • In a bowl, whisk together cream of chicken soup and chicken broth. Pour over the rice.
  • Place chicken breasts on top.

3️⃣ Add the Seasoning

  • Sprinkle onion soup mix evenly over the chicken.
  • Drizzle melted butter over everything.

4️⃣ Bake & Forget It!

  • Cover tightly with foil and bake for 1 hour 30 minutes.
  • Remove foil, check if rice is tender, and broil for 5 minutes for a golden top.

5️⃣ Serve & Enjoy

  • Sprinkle with shredded cheese or fresh herbs if desired.
  • Let sit for 5 minutes, then serve warm!
