For the dough:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • Β½ tsp salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • ΒΌ cup vegetable oil

For the swirl:

  • β…“ cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • Β½ cup raisins (optional but delicious!)

For the glaze (optional):

  • Β½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1–2 tbsp milk or cream

6️⃣ Add remaining batter on top. Swirl in the rest of the cinnamon sugar and raisins using a butter knife.

7️⃣ Bake for 45–50 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.

8️⃣ Cool for 10 minutes before drizzling with the optional glaze.
