🌱 Flaxseed Chocolate Avocado Cake – Rich, Fudgy & Guilt-Free Goodness

This Flaxseed Chocolate Avocado Cake is the perfect blend of indulgent and wholesome. It’s naturally moist thanks to avocado, subtly nutty from flaxseed, and deeply chocolatey with every bite. You’d never guess it’s gluten-free, refined sugar-free, and loaded with nutrients. A treat your body and tastebuds will thank you for!


πŸ“ Ingredients

  • 1 ripe avocado, mashed smooth
  • 2 large eggs
  • Β½ cup pure maple syrup or honey
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Β½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ΒΌ cup ground flaxseed (flaxseed meal)
  • Β½ tsp baking soda
  • Β½ tsp baking powder
  • ΒΌ tsp salt
  • Β½ cup almond flour or oat flour
  • Β½ cup dark chocolate chips (optional, but delicious!)

1️⃣ Preheat oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C). Grease a 9-inch round or square cake pan.
2️⃣ In a large bowl, whisk together mashed avocado, eggs, maple syrup, and vanilla until smooth.
3️⃣ Add in cocoa powder, flaxseed meal, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Mix well.
4️⃣ Fold in the almond flour and stir until just combined. Add chocolate chips if using.
5️⃣ Pour into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
6️⃣ Bake for 25–28 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out mostly clean.
7️⃣ Cool completely before slicing. Optional: Dust with cocoa or drizzle with melted dark chocolate!
