How To Make Garlic-Butter-Steak & Potatoes-Skillet :
- In a small bowl, combine the seasonings from the seasoning mix. To use on potatoes, take out two tablespoons. Pat the steak dry and sprinkle with the remaining seasoning mixture while it is still on the cutting board. Set aside; throw it to evenly cover it.
- Combine the potatoes and 1/2 cup of water in a microwave-safe dish. Cook potatoes in the microwave for 6-7 minutes, covered, until tender. After straining, pat it dry. Before serving, toss the potatoes with two tablespoons of the seasoning mixture and a tablespoon of olive oil. Stir to ensure even coverage.1 tablespoon olive oil is heated in a 12-inch cast iron pan over medium heat. When the oil is hot, add the potatoes and cook for 1-2 minutes, or until they begin to brown, before flipping them over and cooking for another 1-2 minutes, or until they are tender to the fork. Transfer to a tent plate lined with foil. Clear out the pan.
- In a skillet that is now empty, heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil over medium-high heat. When the skillet is hot all the way through, add half the steak in a single layer and allow to sear for 2 minutes. Then flip the steak over and cook for another minute, or until desired doneness. Take out onto a plate. If the pan has any black areas, clean them up.
- Now, heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil on medium-high heat to empty the pan. Once fully heated, add the remaining steak to the skillet in a single layer and sear for 2 minutes without simmering. Add the butter, garlic, parsley, oregano, and thyme after stirring in the steak. Cook for one minute while stirring, then turn off the heat.
- Stir the potatoes and steaks in the skillet to evenly distribute the butter sauce. To taste, add more salt and/or pepper to the dish. Feed it immediately.
