  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/4 cup white wine (optional)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
  • Lemon wedges for garnish

Instructions:

1. Cook the Pasta:

  • Cook the linguine or your preferred pasta according to the package instructions until al dente.
  • Drain and set aside.

2. Saute the Shrimp:

  • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
  • Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until they turn pink and opaque.
  • If using white wine, pour it into the skillet and let it simmer for 2 minutes to reduce slightly.

3. Make the Creamy Sauce:

  • Pour the heavy cream into the skillet with the cooked shrimp.
  • Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and allow the sauce to simmer for about 2-3 minutes until it thickens.
  • Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  • For some heat, add red pepper flakes if desired.

4. Combine Pasta and Sauce:

  • Add the cooked and drained pasta to the creamy shrimp sauce.
  • Toss everything together to coat the pasta evenly with the sauce.

5. Garnish and Serve:

  • Sprinkle fresh chopped parsley over the Garlic Shrimp Pasta.
  • Serve hot with lemon wedges on the side for a bright, zesty touch.
