- 🌶️ 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for a bit of heat)
- 🧂 Salt and pepper to taste
- 🌶️ 1 tablespoon jalapeños, minced (optional for extra spice)
Instructions:
- Combine the ingredients: In a large bowl, mix the softened cream cheese and mayonnaise until smooth and creamy.
- Add the cheddar and pimentos: Fold in the shredded cheddar cheese, diced pimentos, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper (if using). Stir until everything is well combined.
- Season to taste: Add salt and pepper to taste. For a spicier version, fold in the minced jalapeños.
- Chill and serve: Cover and refrigerate the pimento cheese for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld together.
